“Don’t wait until it’s too late!” this is the running slogan by the Pilipinas Anti-Piracy Team (PAPT) as they now focus on high-earning BPO companies.for those who don’t know, PAPT is composed of the national bureau of investigation (NBI), philippine national police (PNP), the optical media board (OMB) and several other organizations related to intellectual property rights (IPR) and copyright protection.
looks like their getting serious with this drive.. in fact they recently seized 11.6mil from 2 companies caught violating copyright laws! so far 25 software piracy cases have been filed by PAPT. hmmmm
