Facebook Gets Hashtag Support
Facebook users can now use Hashtags (#) to filter and better organize their timeline content.  it was in 2007 when Chris Messina used hashtags. Twitter eventually adopted the system to filter tweets based on certain topics. since then, the hashtag has been adopted by other services, including Flickr, Tumblr, Google+ and even Facebook-owned Instagram.
