“Pilipinas, Kay Ganda” (Philippines, So Beautiful) Department of Tourism (DOT)’s latest campaign to promote the country was barraged by criticisms by many of IT PINOYs.
a proposed replacement for “Wow Philippines” the new campaign not only got hit due to it’s lacklaster slogan, many also claims its logo was a copycat of Poland’s. moreover, it’s official website (beautifulpilipinas.com) have to be taken down due to reported bugs and that search results closely matches (confuses) it to a porn site!
looks like this isn’t turning out to be that “beautiful.” and they didn’t put much heavy thinking into this, sad thing is they already spent our money for this!
