after Apple’s very successful release of iPad last year, it is expected that the tablet-creation bandwagon will continue to grow with no less than 35 companies aiming to release their own touchscreen tablets this year.
as of today, the CES trends are the tablets and 3Ds, two more are playing well: internet-enabled (everything) and the “app-lification.”
Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the worlds largest consumer techonology tradeshow. the event started in 1967 was produced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), which promotes growth in the consumer technology industry. all profits from CES are reinvested into industry services, including technical training and education, industry promotion, engineering standards development, market research and legislative advocacy.
