the man behind the success of Apple computers, iPod, iPhone and iPad, CEO Steve Jobs reportedly finally said yes to a biography to be penned by Walter Isaacson entitled, “iSteve: The Book of Jobs.”
“This is the perfect match of subject and author, and it is certain to be a landmark book about one of the world’s greatest innovators,” said Jonathan Karp, publisher of Simon & Schuster. “Just as he did with Einstein and Benjamin Franklin, Walter Isaacson is telling a unique story of revolutionary genius.”
Isaacson, a former managing editor for Time magazine revealed that the book would include chronicles of the dark days when Apple sent Jobs packing, through his remarkable comeback as a consumer-electronics visionary.
“As people get to the end of their career, they tend to want to set the record straight. There have been so many unauthorized biographies that it seems Steve’s family would be pushing him to get his perspective out there,” said Rob Enderle, principal analyst at the Enderle Group.
the book is slated to be released by early 2012. now do we hear a movie in the making? why not!
