Philippine President Benigno Aquino III (PNoy) recently launched the government’s ‘Text-Blast’ system with the hope of boosting public service by systematically informing PINOYs of presidential declarations, disaster warnings, news advisories and other relevant information.
“With this project we will be text mates of many of our countrymen as regards information they need to know,” the President Aquino said in his speech @ the Philippine Information Agency’s 25th anniversary.
