i just read this from tech.blorge, it seems that the redmont software company – Microsoft too is just as volatile as the others.
there is a “substantial” rumor that the company may be laying off as many as 15,000 employees worldwide (this is around 17% of their workforce) and that the cuts will begin on jan15, which is exactly a week before Microsoft’s second-quarter earnings report, due to be released on jan22.
what a sorry way to start the year if this is indeed true.
