Google Latitude

i guess google got inspired by these words as they launched Google Latitude, a new Google Maps feature for mobile devices as well as a free app for your iGoogle.

you only need to register to view the location of your friends and loved ones who have shared their “latitude” with you. this way, you will now be able to see if your boyfriend’s stuck @ work (or doing obeer-times or is somewhere, hala!)

not only this, your status and profile updates will automatically be reflected via sms, Google Talk and/or Gmail. unfortunately, Latitude is still not open for the IT PINOYs (at least not yet).
