Google I/O recently previewed one of it’s newest tool called Google Wave – tagged as the newest model for communication and content collaboration on the web. this is also the tool that others are clamoring to be the Wikipedia/Twitter killer?! hmmm..
so what makes wave? a wave is equal parts conversation and document. it offers richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more!
a wave is shared. any participant can reply anywhere in the message, edit the content and add participants at any point in the process. this certainly looks like Wikipedia plus more!
a wave is live. allows real-time transmission of information, imagine typing something and this get communicated dynamically to the one you’re conversing with, yes it’s live!
this sounds kewl and exciting, couldn’t wait to ride the wave later this year!
